Vacation, sweet vacation

On Saturday I went to my niece's birthday party wearing two different shoes. I didn't get dressed in the dark and I didn't rush getting out the door. It took me about three hours to notice this. Both shoes were Birkenstock sandals but they were two different colors and two different styles. I think it was another sign that I really do need this week of vacation.

Don't get me wrong but wearing two different shoes is somehow weird.;)
By the way I have exactly the same Birkenstock you're wearing on your right foot (or is it at your foot?)

Thanks. I needed that.

There's probably a support group for this. You're the 3 person I've heard that has done this. One was my friend commuting with a co-worker. She noticed she had one hot pink sandal and one black one after they were half way through their commute. Her and her co-worker got to laughing so hard they didn't notice they were speeding past a patrolman. Her co-worker only got a warning ticket after my friend showed the officer what they were laughing at so hard - her sandals.

Are you sure you weren't just trying to start a new trend?

This is the comment you didn't want. Say this with a breathy, shaky voice:

"You have very nice feet."

LOL! Or imagine this one: Can I sip my beer out of your Birkenstock?

It depends on who's asking to drink out of my shoe! The closed-toe shoe would likely work better than the sandal though. :)

Rigenzin -- I can hear you say that. It gave me the shivers. And not the good kind.

Well, at least you weren't wearing (shudder) SOCKS with the Birkies. The disparity between shoe styles would have been even more noticeable then.

Say, haven't I seen those feet on www.lovelyankles.com?

On no. I gave up my ankle modeling career a couple of years ago.
