Bonehead of the Day

The Bonehead of the Day Award e-mails piled up the last few weeks before vacation. Thankfully, the stupid stories are just as funny on time as they are a few weeks later.

It was probably a bad idea to repeatedly make harassing phone calls, complete with "yelling and screaming," to the ex-boyfriend from a pay phone located in the Cambridge, MA Police Department lobby, especially when already under a restraining order to leave him alone.

And, as stupid frosting, there is this story from WPVI in Philadelphia:

A woman spotted leaving a K-mart last week with a bag of goods she allegedly didn't pay for ran off, with three K-mart employees in pursuit. The woman, we're told, jumped a guardrail and darted into some woods where she got stuck in a swamp.
