Funny little crashes

I read about Crash Bonsai on the Pop Culture Junk Email Blog. It's the funniest thing. Little cars in accidents with Bonsai trees. You can order the sculptures online. What a perfect Mother's Day or graduation gift. You can be assured that yours will be the most interesting gift received -- and there will likely be no doubles. I wonder if the sculptures come with sound -- tiny squealing tires and crunching noises.

Some of those crashes seem 'painfully' familiar.

How much fun would it be to create those sculptures? Kind of like that scene from Tommy Boy - I wonder if that's where he got the idea!

I don't remember that scene from Tommy boy. I'll have to watch it again. I loved that movie.

Yes - you do need to watch it again. The scene I'm referring to is when Tommy and Richard are talking to the dealer who - unfortunately for him - has model cars on his desk. It ends with crashes and fires and is quite entertaining to any of us who have figuratively (or literally I suppose) crashed and burned in a presentation.

Way fun! I think I'd like one surrounded by various dinosaurs. Maybe suspend a Pterodactyl from the tiny branches . . .

It's coming back to me now. I just loved Chris Farley as the well-intentioned bumbler. Did you see his Chippendales try out on Saturday Night Live? So earnest. So pathetic. So funny!

Okay, one word: Why?

Why Chris Farley? Why bonsai crashes? Because they're silly!
