Aaaaah, bubbles

While you can't roll over them with your office chair or wring them out like a towel, this online bubble-wrap-popping game is quite delightful. (The "addictive" version is the most fun.)

Well - after playing the bubble game for a few hours I got one of my semiannual 'gotta have a blizzard' cravings. The problem is - and I still can't believe it - there are NO DQ's in Downtown St. Paul.

(In Mpls where I used to work I could walk two blocks and hit a DQ, a SOLA, a Jamba Juice and TWO Au Bon Pain's!)

A coworker suggested McD's and a McFlurry. Now, I haven't been to McD's for I don't know how long - but I just had to have some ice cream.

So they charged me $3 - hardly mixed the thing (I'm about 1/3 down and already at all vanilla) and overall it was VERY disappointing. So - any franchise specialists out there want to open up a DQ in downtown St. Paul? I can PROMISE you at least two visits a year....

....back to the bubble game...

More proof of the inherent evilness of McDonald's. (Oops! The Golden Arches will sue Sophzilla now. Poor babies.)

Did you ever read about the French farmer who was arrested for taking apart a McDonald's and carrying the pieces away in a wheelbarrow? The man is my HERO!
