Archie McPhee always has the best, weirdest stuff. I love the Lunch Lady action figure. She comes with various unidentifiable foods and even has the slightly beefy arms!
Did the Grundschule cafeteria workers in Germany look like this? Ours did. They had hair nets, uniforms, big spoons and sometimes, dubious food. A lot of them were crabby, too. It's worse now. School kids often get nasty, sugar- and fat-laden meals.
We had no cafeteria. School ended around noon. We brought our Wurstbrote from home. Nowadays kids eat at Mc Donald's because their parents work all day. We still have only a few full time schools in Germany.
This reminds me of one of the ladies whu used to work the sandwich line in the cafeteria where I work. She was very sweet, but I believe she was slowly losing her mind! She would sometimes forget your sandwich order when she was half way through making yor sandwich. She also had the habit of squeezing the sandwich a little hard after slicing it and handing it to you, , so there would be the distinct outline of three or four fingers on the bread of each half sandwich.

This one would have definetly disturbed me deeply as a child! I loved my Barbie!
