Rock on UDHR!

Human Rights 2.0. There's a blog and a twitter feed on human rights violations and blogging. Hooray! You are so not persecuting people for speech undetected! Web speech is also protected speech, even if you don't agree.
Article 19, Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
Take that, despots!

Sign offs

I love the way that John Hodgman ends his blog posts on Good Evening -- "That is all."

In some of my personal e-mails I've taken to signing off with "Over and out."

Blogging from Iran

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran, has a blog. He doesn't update very often (put it in Google Reader and you won't have to worry about checking back). Kind of mind bending. The comments are pretty interesting, too.

Crazy person on the bus

Joseph Scrimshaw now has a blog, Crazy Person on the Bus. The Scrimshaw Brothers' shows are the best and funniest I've seen at the Fringe. How could you not like a group whose show titles include "Look Ma, No Pants," "Shut Your Joke Hole" and "Adventures in Mating"? Sadly, I did not make it to any Fringe shows this year. Pure madness. I'll need to make up for it next year.
