I think it is a general assessment of the recycling movement in general. Personally I think all is over and it is everyone for themselves!!!!!
I think they were fighting over who had the most recyclables! I think it was a tie.

I spotted these on walk around the neighborhood. The recycling bins were likely pushed over by a snow plow. But I think it looks like there was a fight.
