On Friday I took Sophie to the Blessing of the Animals at United Seminary. My nervousness about her behavior was not unwarranted. She almost lost her mind. She was so terribly excited to be in a new place and meet new people. I don't think her tail stopped wagging the whole time we were there.The service was short and lovely. They took the whole idea of companion animals very seriously. It was quite touching.

What a fantastic picture!!! I can just see Sophie going wild at the blessing. I bet she slept realllly well that night. :-D
